To undertake switching, testing and earthing of the Overhead Line Equipment on Network Rail Infrastructure, working within all relevant Railway Group Standards and Network Rail Company Standards and in compliance with Generic Method Statement CR/GMS/001

Key responsibilities
- To attend site meetings with the Nominated Person
- To work under the direction of the Nominated Person
- To work under the direction of the Electrical Control Room
- To test and apply/remove local earths from the Overhead Line
- To undertake switching duties on the overhead line
- To organise staff members under their control
- Carry out safety critical duties deemed to be within their capability and competence
- Carry out Bonding and Inspections
- Report fit for duty at all times
- Ensure that the correct PPE is worn and competencies carried at all times when on duty
- Participate in staff briefings as required
- To work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations
- To follow all reasonable instructions of supervisors and managers
- Attend all courses and training briefings as required
- To act in a professional manner at all times
